Abundance……………………Leecy Barnett

  Lynn University’s 2012 Commencement speaker, Peter H. Diamandis is optimistic about the future.  In his book,        Abundance: the Future is Better than You Think, Diamandis contends that the media’s fixation on bad news has given us a warped perspective on the world.  He feels that technology is paving the way to a much better planet.  We live in an age of plenty, the problems are mostly in distribution: When seen through the lens of technology, few resources are truly scarce; they’re mainly inaccessible.  Yet the threat of scarcity still dominates our worldview.
